ORIGINAL THREE-LAYER PARQUET

Three-layer parquets LAMAR represent a “new generation” of parquet whose properties have been significantly improved in relation to massive parquet floors. Multi-layer construction of Lamar parquet guarantees durability and stability which is ensured by unifying several species of wood blocks into one whole.
Thanks to its three-layer structure and mutual “soothing” function of hard and soft types of wood, three-layer parquet responds to the impact of various unfavorable environmental factors, such as inadequate moisture in the ground or in the air, to a lesser extent than hardwood parquet. In this way the finished parquet retains its “original” look longer, it does not dry up and does not cause cracks.

The top layer of the parquets LAMAR is made from one lamella (planks) of the finest types of wood regardless of the dimension of the parquet. It is placed at 90 ° angle in relation to middle layer, thereby it acquires a special construction of the board which prevents the „work“ of wood. The thickness of the upper layer is 4mm / 6mm which enables grinding (sanding) of parquet 4-5 times during its existence. Given that the average repair of parquet flooring in households is once in 10 years and that during a repair maximum 1mm of the hardwood is buffed, it is clear that the life expectancy of three-layer parquet is the same as the lifespan of solid / classic parquet.

The bottom layer of the parquets LAMAR is made from the highest quality fir veneer and it represents the foundation to the middle layer, what gives greater strength and stability to the parquet, while increasing the insulation capability of the parquet. Glued together, these two layers constitute the so-called “carpet” which represents the “heart” of the three-layer parquet. In this way, it gives greater volume for absorbing moisture from the air in all four seasons.

Middle layer Middle layer is placed under 90 in relation to the upper layer. It is made of specially cut lattices of softwood so it can obtain an elongated position of the longitudinal ring, whereby the additional stability of the parquet is obtained.

Dimensions of parquet LAMAR:

Thickness: 14 / 16 mm
Width: 120-210 mm
Length: 500-2200 mm

Traditional system of joining (tongue & groove,) is adapted to parquet’s sizes and with an aid of modern technology; it guarantees best stability to parquetsEach board of Lamar parquet is further accentuated by gently rounded edges so the whole area gets one compact unit. The parquet is placed by gluing on the surface in all lengths.
